Box office update: Akshay Kumar beats Hrithik Roshan while Shahid Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal manage to steal the thunder

 has dominated the domestic 
box office
 with a galore of films but it looks like 
Shahid Kapoor
 and 
Vicky Kaushal
 have managed to steal the thunder with their respective releases.

Akshay has been on a juggernaut run at the box office with releases like 'Kesari', 'Mission Mangal' and 'Housefull 4' already raking several crores and 'Good Newwz' yet to hit the theatres. With the Khiladi Kumar looking adamant to reach the astounding figure of Rs 1000 crore at the box office this year, his latest release 'Housefull 4' has been creating new records at the box office
 
According to a report on Boxofficeindia.com, the Fahad Samji multi-starrer has grabbed the 12th spot in Mumbai's top-grossing films of all time. Akshay's 'Housefull 4' has managed to beat 
Hrithik Roshan
's 'War' as it collected Rs 79.25 crore while the latter had collected just Rs 77.42 crore in Mumbai. But looks like Sasha's 'Kabir Singh' and Vicky's 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' have stolen the thunder as they have raked in Rs 87.21 crore and Rs 84.11 crore respectively this year in Mumbai itself
